Annual Salary: $36,000 plus a generous opportunity to earn unlimited commissions.  Our producers can reach $60,000 - $100,000 in their first twelve months with base + commissions.

Position Summary: The Personal Insurance Agency Producer plays a critical role in the organization by connecting with clients, providing empathetic and effective communication, and ensuring the best insurance solutions to meet their needs. This role is essential for driving the company's success through sales and customer retention and reflects the organization’s core values using effective prospecting techniques with an emphasis on quality.

Essential Functions:

Prospecting

  • Generate leads and establish centers of influence via cold calling and networking to generate new business
  • Contribute to individual goals and agency success through promoting referral business from associates and new and existing clients, as well as cross-selling and new initiatives
  • Engage with prospects through LinkedIn and become a trusted advisor by providing tailored insurance solutions
  • Complete applications, supplemental questionnaires, risk surveys, and other related documentation accurately
  • Address phone, email, or site visit questions and concerns promptly
  • Track, monitor, and report on weekly/monthly prospecting activity and sales results to the supervisor

Proposal Process and Presentations

  • Follow agency standard procedures and industry best practices to effectively develop and manage client relationships and to process and prepare customer correspondence and proposals
  • Provide complete and comprehensive submissions to underwriters and respond promptly to requests for additional information
  • Accurately document coverage discussions, quotes, declinations, coverage changes, and new business paperwork
  • Manage prospect expectations and promote positive experiences throughout the proposal process
  • Demonstrate the ability to close sales

Customer Retention

  • Manage the client relationship in CRM and provide timely follow-up via phone, email, or client visit to address client questions and concerns
  • Build rapport and positive relationships with clients throughout the policy term
  • Demonstrates ability to handle escalated client issues and manage client expectations
  • Conduct regular check-ins

General Duties

  • Maintain knowledge of procedures, coverage, and the industry to manage, maintain, and develop client relationships effectively
  • Attend daily, weekly, and monthly staff meetings
  • Submit coversheet with checklist and signed documentation promptly to the Operations Assistant
  • Assist in the development of marketing programs
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Education and Training:

  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • Texas Property and Casualty License (required)
  • Texas Life & Health License (preferred)

Experience:

  • 2 + years of Personal Lines Insurance Sales experience
